The Borgo is an excellent base for visiting Casentino and art cities such as Arezzo and Florence. The most famous and striking locations in Casentino are definitely Camaldoli, the Verna Sanctuary, and the Pieve di Romena.<\/p>\n

What”s the best vacation to regenerate from mental and physical stress? We respond with this beautiful phrase: “Nature is the fuel of the soul” The Borgo is in a great location for a nature vacation, being on the edge of the Casentino Forest National Park, with marked trails of hiking times and mileage. It is possible to ride the trails, walking, horseback riding and mountain biking. For riding we rely on the San Donato Equestrian Club about 20 minutes from the Borgo, we can arrange rides for those who already know how to ride, lessons in the rectangle for those who need to learn. A comfortable stable is available at the Borgo for those who wish to bring their horses. For those who love two wheels, we have organized a mountain bike and e-bike rental service with and without a guide. Wonderful snowshoe walks are organized in the winter season.<\/p>\n

For those who like to ski 15 km away two ski slopes. For those who enjoy golf there is a wonderful and scenic 11-hole course and the opportunity to learn this relaxing sport. Do you want to play tennis? We will book you a camp in Stia. Fishing enthusiasts can enjoy the sport in Casentino in lakes, at the river and streams, and at the nearby trout farm. Do you want to walk in the trees!!! In Stia there is the Adrenaline Park, where strength, technique and concentration are put into motion, and you can reach dizzying heights, but always in total safety! For adults and children. For the latter, it is possible to join the Friends of the Donkey, a wonderful experience in contact with this sweet animal! Do you want to relax with a Thai massage, or yoga? We’ll take care of it! Reservations are recommended for all services, especially during peak season. Not to forget that those who want an absolute restful vacation there is our comfortable swimming pool open from May to September, exclusively for our guests, with sunbeds equipped with cushions, umbrellas, and floating chairs for an enviable tan!<\/p>\n

In the right seasons it is possible to collect mushrooms and chestnuts.<\/p>\n
