OUR DREAM, YOUR FARMHOUSE. There was a time when people’s greatest desire was to live in the city, away from the toil of the fields. It was so for our parents. In years of city life, the children….we had some great job satisfaction, recognized, but our attachment to nature, to those scents to those colors and sounds, which cities hide, always got the better of any career plans that lay ahead of us. Somehow we knew that our place was elsewhere and that our resources, one day or another, would be destined toward “coming back.” Today, together with our beloved little tribe of pets Gemma Mina Eliot Luna Nerino Pisolo Stellina, we managed to organize this 18th-century Borgo with a panorama of rare beauty in the municipality of Stia in Tuscany, in the upper Casentino. Thus the Tramonte location became the Borgo Tramonte farmhouse where our passion finally coincides with our everyday life. The care of the greenery, of a small vegetable garden, together with the hospitality of people who are always different, but united by the love of the tranquility of these lands and the unspoiled flavors of country life. The kitchen is our strong point, because the feeling of conviviality has accompanied our family and friends since time immemorial, since the time when meeting in front of a sunset was the most exciting moment of every vacation. So in every dish there is a story to tell, in every recipe a bit of life lived, in every ingredient the respect for a nature that should never be contaminated. Borgo Tramonte is an agritourism, but it is also our dream. It is not an activity born with commercial purposes, and every time a guest confesses to us that they feel at home, we know that it is in those words the ultimate meaning of what we have always wanted.
